The same motif, told in the dark.
The Noir Edition takes the same Persian boteh as the Halo and drops it onto near-black ground. The pattern stops being decorative and starts behaving like relief, visible mostly at the angle where the light catches it.

A pattern you find rather than see
At arm's length the pair reads as a clean dark sneaker. Up close the boteh is fully there, dense and detailed. It is the version for people who want the artwork without announcing it across a room.

Tonal printing
Printing dark on dark is harder than printing colour. The tones sit within a few shades of each other, so any drift in the press shows immediately. Sheets that drift get pulled.

Hand-lasted construction
Each upper is stretched over the last by hand, the sole is bonded under pressure, and the pair is cured overnight before inspection.
Final run. This design was produced in a single limited batch and will not be reprinted. Once a size sells out it is gone for good.
